The MOBOTIX Concept makes the difference
The MOBOTIX camera has a unique new design and features a variety of innovations without
the need to install any software application: It is also unique in its unmatched high-resolution image quality (640 x 480) with minimal network load (1 Mbps) at high frame rates (12fps)
As opposed to most competing products, MOBOTIX cameras do not display motion artifacts
in high-resolution images and direct artificial or sun light do not result in lower image quality.
Compare the results to those of our competitors, but make sure that you are comparing
high-resolution images (640 x 480) when you are comparing image quality and network load!
Depending on the model, MOBOTIX cameras are delivered with these integrated features:

- Sensors (passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor, microphone, video motion sensor, temperature sensor, event counter, input switch).
- Compatibility, since no software installation or browser plug-ins are required.
- Event-controlled image recording including pre- and post-event images.
- Action and Messaging for driving a relay output, FTP transfer, alarm messages via email, local voice or audio message, IP message to server program, local device control via RS-232.

These components plus the fact that the camera can be adapted to future requirements by a
simple software upload guarantee an extended product life cycle and return on investment.
In general, there is no additional video management software required, since it is the MOBOTIX
camera itself that performs all recording, playback and image search in the network. Archiving
is performed automatically to standard file servers (Windows/LINUX). Specific software is not
required. This concept reduces the network load of event-controlled recording systems to an
absolute minimum. As opposed to standard DVR systems that split the frame rate of the recorder among the connected cameras, MOBOTIX cameras always record their images at the maximum frame rate. |
